The Unpleasant Energy of February No One Talks About & 3 Crystals to Help

February 10, 2019

Let’s be real. February, coined “the month of love”, can bring along some funky energy that no one talks about due to the overshadowing energy of Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day is a celebration of romance and romantic love and is observed internationally on February 14th . It’s a single day were roses, chocolates, funny valentines and fancy dinners are at an all time peak. However, for some, Valentine’s Day can heighten “Single Awareness” and affect people in different ways. The energy of the month itself can intensify unpleasant energy if a relationship or marriage is unhealthy or on the rocks. Unconsciously, the inner child who felt unloved or experienced emotional stress and trauma, may awaken repressed feelings. For others, this month can stir up unpleasant feelings of grief, betrayal, abandonment, blame, retaliation and even revenge due to deep emotional wounds and scars. All sparking anxiety, depression or bouts of lashing out.

The reason why these thoughts and feelings are resurfacing is so they can be acknowledged, accepted and released. One is being forced to unpack the emotional damage, fears, self-destructive behaviors in order to heal and heal for good. When one decides to ignore or sweep emotional needs under the rug - emotional turmoil will return again and again. Who truly wants to ride an emotional roller coaster over and over?

I recommend seeking professional help through therapy or counseling as a confidential anchor to guide the healing process. If one chooses to self-heal, I highly recommend spiritual alignment through meditation, journaling, connecting with nature and crystal energy healing.
